International Students

COVID-19 Update

Given the variety of challenges we are currently facing with regards to our ability to deliver training and assessment services to International students as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Carey Training has decided to put CRICOS accreditation on hold (effectively in hibernation) until the situation improves. A hold on registration will enable our registration to be sustained through a period of inactivity and allow us to recommence operations as a CRICOS provider when the situation improves and we are able to recommence delivery of services.

During this period of ‘hibernation’ of our CRICOS accreditation, Carey Training:

  • Will not accept any enrolments and/or fees from students
  • will not deliver any training and assessment services

We look forward to being in a position whereby we can lift the hold on our CRICOS accreditation and meet your training and assessment requirements.

International Students – CRICOS Provider Code 03451D

Welcome to Carey Training Pty Ltd (Legal Name: Carey Training Pty Ltd, Trading Name: Carey Training Pty Ltd, RTO No: 140100, CRICOS No: 03451D) an educational provider specialising in Australian vocational education. In 2017 and 2018 Carey Training delivered a Certificate II in Metal Roofing and Cladding qualification to around 45 Malaysian students in Kutching, Sarawak.

International students can study at our Darwin office located at 12 O'Sullivan Circuit, East Arm, NT, 0822. Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory. It’s about as far north as it’s possible to get. Its busy port and close ties with South East Asia make it particularly important to the Australia economy. It’s estimated that Darwin’s population draws from 70 different ethnicities from more than 60 countries. Darwin is considered the country’s gateway to Asia, so a lot of the influence is Asian.

Darwin has a tropical climate with temperatures that seldom drop below 21°Celsius. It can get humid and balmy in summer, however, which is why winter is actually considered the best time of year.  You can expect monsoon-like rains between October and March.
